Designed specifically for Mercury 300 HP 4.6L V8 Verado outboards, this genuine Mercury Vented Splash Cover helps protect your engine from water spray, UV exposure, salt corrosion, dirt, and debris while underway. The vented design allows the cover to remain installed while the engine is in use.

White Cover Care & Appearance Information:
• Clean hands and a clean engine are recommended before handling or installing white covers.
• White fabric may show dirt, grease, and environmental staining more readily than darker fabrics.
• Slight transparency may occur, allowing portions of the engine cowl graphics to show through the cover.
• Minor dark specks within the fabric weave may be visible and are a normal characteristic of the manufacturing process.
• On Verado models, exhaust deposits may cause discoloration near the exhaust outlet area over time. This is a normal result of engine operation and cannot be prevented.
• Machine washing is not recommended. Follow the supplied care instructions to maximize fabric life.

  • It is highly recommended that hands and the motor are clean before handling the white covers. Oil and grease will mark the fabric and may be hard to remove.
  • The white fabric is liable to show dirt more easily. Responsibility for the fabric or any part of the cover becoming dirty or marked with use cannot be accepted by the manufacturer.
  • White Fabric (P2) may be slightly transparent and you may see the branding on the existing cowl come through the cover. The perfect alignment of the cover graphics and cowl graphics cannot be guaranteed.
  • As with all covers, the use of a washing machine is NOT recommended. Please follow the supplied care instructions carefully, the more they are washed the faster they will degrade.
  • The use of re proofing products MAY cause discolouration – patch testing is recommended. The use or re proofing agents will invalidate the fabric warranty (not workmanship).
  • White fabric may also come with small dark colour dots which is unavoidable and is caused by dust particles in the air when the fabric is woven.

The exhaust port on the rear lower part of the motor (Verado motors) ‘will’ become marked with black exhaust deposits from this port, this is unavoidable.
